Rock and Roll

Everybody let's rock....

Trumpet Playing 1

Grace (age 5) wants to start a Rock 'n' Roll band.
Her mom says, "There's a lot of planning to do and we have to figure out who's going to be IN the band and who's just going to come watch and who's playing what. She's going to play the piano and I'm playing guitar. Someone, it might be you [Granny], is playing banjo. Omah is playing trumpet.  I suggested Grandfather and his nose flute but I think she's a little reluctant.

"She said 'If you're in the band, you have to do cool moves. That's what's on my list...cool moves.  On my rock and roll band list.'"
Grace previously mentioned a tuba for the band, too. Never mind that none of us can play the above mentioned instruments. The costume for the band is simple (so far). A plastic bowl cover.

Daddy asked what songs the band would play.
" Rock and roll songs!"
"But which ones?"
"ALL of them!"
"Do you know their names?"
"Let me think about it."
Stay tuned..............
